Wildi

Privacy policy

Wildi is a school dismissal system made by JDL Solutions in Qatar. This policy explains what personal data the Wildi apps (Wildi for parents and Wildi Class for teachers), the school console and this website handle, who is responsible for it, and your choices.

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Who is responsible

Each school that uses Wildi is the controller of the data about its students, parents, collectors and staff. The school decides what is collected and how long it is kept, and its own privacy notice is shown in the parent app before you register.

JDL Solutions builds and supports Wildi and processes that data only on the school's instructions. JDL Solutions is the controller for the messages you send through this website.

Where the data is kept

Each school has its own Wildi server and database. Student, parent and pickup records stay on that school's server and are not shared with other schools.

Wildi Hub, run by JDL Solutions, is a directory of schools: name, logo, school code and address, so the apps can connect. It holds no student or parent data.

What the apps handle

Parents: name, email, phone number and password (stored as a hash); each child linked to you with the child's name and Qatar ID number; the people you authorize to collect, with their name, relation and phone number and, if you add them, their ID number and photo; pickup requests and their times; absence and transport plans you enter; and the device token used to send you notifications.

Teachers and staff: name, email or username, role, and the actions they take, such as seeing and sending a call.

Students: name in Arabic and English, grade and section, Qatar ID number and, if the school adds one, a photo.

Why it is used

To check who may collect each child, to release children to the right adult, to tell teachers and reception when a parent arrives, to send pickup updates and school announcements, and to keep a record of each handover that the school can review.

Wildi does not sell personal data, show advertising or use your data for marketing. The apps contain no advertising or analytics trackers.

Who can see it

Only school staff whose role allows it. Full Qatar ID numbers are shown only to staff with that permission; teachers, parents and the dismissal board see a masked number or none.

When JDL Solutions support helps a school, it uses a session that expires after four hours, and each action is labelled as support in the school's audit log.

Notifications are delivered through Apple, Google and the Expo notification service. They carry the message text and are not used for anything else.

How long it is kept

Each school sets its own retention periods. By default, pickup records are kept for one year and audit records for two years. The Qatar ID number from a rejected claim is removed after 30 days, and the ID number and photo of a student who leaves or a collector you remove are removed after one year.

Each school server is backed up every night to encrypted storage. Backups follow the school's backup schedule.

Your rights

Under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016), you can ask your school to see or correct your data, and you can withdraw your consent.

You can delete your parent account from the app at any time (Account, then Delete my account). If you cannot open the app, use our delete account page and we will handle the request with your school. The school keeps its record of past pickups, without your contact details, for as long as it must.

Children

The apps are used by parents, collectors and school staff. Children do not have accounts. Information about children is entered by the school and by their parents.

This website

wildi.qa does not use advertising or analytics cookies. When you send a demo request, support message or deletion request, we receive the details you enter, your language and the time. We use them only to reply to you and keep them for up to two years, unless you become a customer.

Changes and contact

We will update the date on this page when this policy changes. When a school changes its own notice, the parent app asks you to read and accept it again.

For questions about the data your school holds, contact your school. For questions about Wildi or this policy, write to us from the support page.
